Which glass of wine is mine...?
Now how many times have we had a nice glass of wine at a gathering, to put the glass down only to return to it later and not know which glass is ours?
If only we had a way of telling which glass was ours?…. Well hello to wine charms, we will never lose or get confused over our glass of wine again, which will help avoid annoyance and embarrassment, when we either drink someone else’s drink or we have to go and get a new glass of wine! L
Wine charms seemed to have proved a popular trend in the early 2000’s and have continued to grow and become more popular ever since.
Wine charms are usually made from a metal ring, this can be from any metal including gold and silver or plastic and beads, although the ring is more commonly made from some sort of metal. Along the ring a charm is placed which sits along the base of the wine glass while the ring is fastened around the stem of the glass
They also make fantastic gifts if you continually struggle with coming up with unique gifts to give to someone for their birthday or anniversary these are gifts to give.
With all of that in mind we at ERL have realised what an important quaint little accessory these are to have at any party or gathering so we are slowly starting to make our own wine charms, they will be for sale at all our charity events, via our EBAY shop and eventually through our website.

Here comes the bride......
We at ERL love nothing more than a wedding, with a member of our team planning her wedding and the country waiting eagerly for the Royal Wedding it all seems that love and romance is in the air.
What a lovely time for family and friends to come together and celebrate with a big party but weddings were not always romantic, about love and wanting to spend eternity with that special someone, does anyone ever wonder about the history of weddings.......?
In the very early years it was all about politics and survival, women would be kidnapped by the groom along with his loyal friends and family, this group of men is now know as the ‘best man’ and ‘groom men’ The bride was thought of as the grooms property, the couple would stay away from their village or their ‘tribe’ as long as possible to avoid any backlash this time over the years has now become to be known as the ‘honeymoon’.
If a bride wasn’t being kidnapped by her groom she would have been used as an object to bring villages, tribes or high ranking families together they would have also been to sell for livestock or land, this changed in medieval times when the laws changed women were no longer allowed to be sold or exchanged.
We are not saying marriages for love didnt happen this was mainly the case with lower classes as possessions and social standing were not so important.
It was during Elizabethan times that weddings became more like the ones we attend today, even though these were happy with the fairy tale ending most marriages were still arranged.
Oh, how things have evolved over the years, we can safely say that nowadays the majority of weddings take place with lots of love and happiness.
If you are getting married this year or anytime soon, Good luck and forever happiness from ERLxxxxx

A BIG Thank You...
ERL have been very busy over the last weeks organising a charity shopping event in aid of a local charity – Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal.
This charity supports women and men who are going through treatment for breast cancer, who are about to undertake treatment or are fighting the battle to become cancer survivors.
We would like to shout out a big thank you to everyone who helped us raise money for Crazy Hats including all the stallholders who came along to sell their wonderful merchandise, it was a lovely evening and ERL are proud to be able to help raise money and awareness for such a worthy cause.
Due to the success of the evening and the lovely friendly atmosphere the cogs are already turning to put the wheels in motion to organise our next event.
Keep a look out on our blog or Facebook for more updates on this.
Thanks again to you all xxx

What is it I have forgotten.... and why do I need it?
So we have all decided to keep fit and get in shape ready for the summer, we have joined the gym purchased our new gym kit and we are ready to go... but wait we have forgotten one thing.. now here at ERL we know the importance of this little item but as we still forgot it made us wonder how many of you girlies would also forget?
It is the most vital piece of exercise equipment at all – A Sports Bra!
A lot of us would all be thinking, what is all the fuss about but the facts speak for themselves... Breasts are mostly composed of fatty tissue and are supported by skin and ligaments called Coopers Ligaments, as these are not elastic during high impact sports the breasts bounce and pull on these ligaments causing them to stretch, once these ligaments have stretched they stay this way... resulting in every womans nightmare – saggy boobs!!!
Also, without the support it can also cause breast pain and upper back and shoulder problems.
If an average woman was to run without a bra her breasts would move up and down by 8.5cm, by wearing an ordinary bra this would reduce by approx 32 per cent, wearing a sports bra will reduce this by approx a further 20 per cent.
The first sports bra was invented in 1977 initially called a ‘jockbra’ by two ladies called Lisa Lindahl and Hinda Miller following a phone called from Lisa sister as she joked about exercising in ‘everyday bras’ she was frustrated by runaway bra straps, chafing skin and sore breasts after running . (sound familiar? J) this put the cogs in motion for Lisa, she and Hinda cut up a pair of jockstraps and sewed them together into a bra and marketed it as the ‘jogbra’
Now over the years the sports bra has developed immensely with lots of research and testing been undertaken.
At ERL our favourite has to be Freya Active, in 2010 Health & Fitness magazine put their running shoes on to rigorously test the best high-impact sports bra on the market and Freya Active came out on top – receiving 5 out of 5 in all categories which included style, performance and features and we can agree that it gives you 100% support.
Now we have reminded you of that all important missing item and saved you from a potential nightmare..... get buying girlies !J

Famous words by a 1970’s novelist Judy Blume that over the years have become comical lyrics, how many of us have sung this as some point in our lifes? Perhaps dancing in front of the mirror or just as a group of friends joking around J
We at ERL certainly have!!
But these words are oh so true....
Not a lot of us girlies realise that it is possible to tone & firm the muscles that support our chests which will help lift and boost our bust, strong and wel-toned chest muscles will help make your boobs appear bigger and firmer (isn’t that a result ?J) in also training this area we can help prevent back pain too.....
Now with those reasons alone what’s stopping us??
Below are a couple of links to video clips from Womens Fitness with some top tips on how we can achieve good results....
